Beverley Ann McNabb Tarbous passed away at Abingdon Care and Rehabilitation Center, in Green Brook, NJ on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at the age of 85.

Mrs.Tarbous was born in Skaneateles, NY on February 10, 1932 and then moved to Newark, NJ before finally settling in North Plainfield in 1949.  She graduated from Plainfield Beauty School and operated a successful beauty salon, B-Jen’s, in North Plainfield for many years.   She enjoyed being with her family, cooking for them and playing games.  She was a member of the North Plainfield Recreation Bowling League for many years.

Beverley was predeceased by her husband, Albert “Curly” Tarbous, her father and mother, James and Rita Green McNabb, her twin brother, Benson McNabb, and her two other brothers, James and John McNabb and sister Patricia McNabb Kelly. 

She is lovingly remembered by her sons Albert Tarbous and wife Kathy of Toms River, Richard Tarbous and wife Cheryl of Middlesex, her daughter Jennie Dzurilla and her husband Daniel of North Plainfield.   She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Daniel and Elizabeth Dzurilla, Jenna and Tam Garcia, Richard and Nicole Tarbous, Steven Tarbous, Megan and Tyler Pang and Jonathan Tarbous and one great grandson, Tyler Dzurilla, her loving niece Nancy Maestas, and many other nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield on Saturday, December 23rd from 11AM – 1PM.  

 In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the research of Alzheimer’s disease.
