Carol Sibilia Obituary

Carol A. Sibilia, 71 of Middlesex NJ passed away Saturday August 4, 2018 at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston surrounded by her children.

Memorial services will be held from 4 – 8 pm Wednesday August 8, 2018 at Scarpa-Las Rosas, 22 Craig Place North Plainfield NJ. A memorial lunch will be held on Friday August 10th, from 1-4 pm at The Spain Inn West 7th St. and Rock Avenue Piscataway NJ.

Carol was born at St. Mary’s Hospital Newark NJ to John Albert and Alexina Chinn on April 7, 1947. She graduated from Girls Vocational in Newark NJ.   She married Nicholas Sibilia on September 1, 1966 in Newark NJ.

Carol was a Secretary for the NJ State Fireman’s Association in Kenilworth NJ for 27 years.

Carol is preceded in death by her her husband Nicholas Isadore Sibilia in 1990, parents John and Alexina, brother John Archibald Chinn and sister Mary Elizabeth Turi.

Carol is survived by her children: daughter Carrie-Ann Sibilia Crockett and husband Barry, son Nicholas Sibilia and wife Sandy, son Ronald Sibilia, daughter Samantha Sibilia Tanchak and husband Anthony, sister Christina Marie Chinn Bozowski and son Joseph, niece Danielle Turi Curcio and husband Anthony and children Alexandra and Anthony, Michael Turi and wife Gayle and children Morgan, Micah and baby #3.

Carol has 10 grandchildren whom were the light of her life: Andrew Ruggiero and wife Chennele, Jace and Lexington Crockett, Nicholas and Stephanie Sibilia, Hailey, Ella, and Emidio Sibilia, Paige and Brett Tanchak and great grandson Lucio Ruggiero and many other nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Doctors Rogal, Torre, Fann and her nurses at St. Barnabas Medical Center, CCU: Michelle, Gaby, Chris, Junia, and Martina. You have made this impossible situation into a peaceful transition for our mother and we are eternally grateful.
