Abel Miguel Vidal

Abel Miguel Vidal, 73, of North Plainfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, dedication, and cherished memories with his family and friends.

Abel was born on October 9, 1952, in Callao, Peru, to the late Vicente Vidal and the late Manuela (Meza) Vidal. He was proud of his Peruvian heritage and carried the values of family, hard work, and devotion throughout his life.

Abel was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Rina Vidal, with whom he shared many treasured years. He was a loving father to Eleazar Vidal, Eliana Rodriguez, and Evelyn Vidal, and a cherished father-in-law to Angela Vidal and Roberto Rodriguez. He was also the proud grandfather of Lillian Rodriguez and Juliette Rodriguez, who brought him immense joy and happiness.

Abel dedicated his professional life to helping others. He earned a Master's degree and worked as a Human Services Specialist with Union County Social Services in Plainfield, New Jersey, where his commitment to serving his community was an important part of his life. His compassion, knowledge, and dedication to helping others left a meaningful impression on those who had the privilege of working with him.

Family was at the heart of Abel's life. He will be deeply missed by his beloved father-in-law, Victor Mosquito, age 97, as well as his three brothers, three sisters, three brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, 18 nephews, 14 nieces, 11 grand-nephews, and 14 grand-nieces.

Abel will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, caring brother, and treasured member of his extended family. His kindness, generosity, wisdom, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and family that will continue through the generations. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will forever remain with those who knew and loved him.
