Aida A Melendez De Toscano

In Loving Memory of Aida A. Melendez De Toscano, aged 90, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Saturday, September 19th from 4-8pm in Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place North Plainfield, NJ 07060.

Aida was born on January 8, 1936, in Ambato, Tungurahua, Ecuador, to the late Segundo Manuel Alfredo Melendez Zurita and Zoila Armendariz. Throughout her life, Aida was dedicated to her home and family, pouring her heart and soul into being a loving homemaker. 

A resident of North Plainfield, New Jersey, she brought warmth, love, and tradition to all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband. 

Aida is survived by her devoted daughter, Yesmina Toscano, who cared for her deeply, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her gentle spirit and loving nature.

 Aida’s memory will live on forever in the hearts of those she loved and touched throughout her ninety wonderful years.
