Alphonse Pellegrino

Alphonse Pellegrino, a devoted craftsman and beloved uncle, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on August 17, 1965, Alphonse lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a love for family.

A skilled carpenter by trade, Alphonse took great pride in his work which he learned under the guidance of his uncle. His dedication to quality and attention to detail were evident in everything he built. Alphonse was also an auto mechanic and worked for many years with his father at Joe’s Auto Shop in Plainfield.

Alphonse was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, always cheering on his team with passion and pride. He also found joy in the kitchen, where he loved preparing traditional Italian meals—always finishing with a strong espresso. He also loved music—especially KISS—and enjoyed fishing with his father and uncles.

Alphonse an avid animal lover, devoted his final years to assisting and caring for stray cats alongside his close friends.

Above all, Alphonse will be remembered for the love and laughter he shared with his family and friends especially his sister, brother in-law, nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and craftsmanship that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
