Angelina DiPaolo Jembrysek

Angelina DiPaolo Jembrysek, 97, of Somerset, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at St. Peter’s Medical Center in Somerset, New Jersey.

Born on January 24, 1928, in Plainfield, New Jersey, Angelina lived a long life shaped by strength, honesty, and love for her family. Even in her later years, she still had all of her senses — along with her beautiful smile — which remained a comfort to those around her.

Above all else, Angelina adored her grandchildren, Kimberlee and Denise. They were a source of joy to her, and becoming a great-grandmother to Summer and Logan brought her even more happiness.

She witnessed many loved ones move on to their next journeys, some far too young. Angelina was predeceased by her son, Craig, and, many years later, her beloved husband, Anthony.

She leaves behind her daughter, Janice Vastino; her son, Mark; her granddaughters, Kimberlee Vastino (Matt Pilote) and Denise Hoffman (Jason Hoffman), and their children, her great-grandchildren Summer and Logan; as well as her nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her deeply.

Angelina will be remembered for her caring nature and the love she shared with her family. Her presence will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, April 21st from 11-12pm in Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place North, Plainfield, NJ 07060.

Inurnment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
