Carlos Antonio Castro Alas, 40, of North Plainfield, NJ, passed away on June 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Born in Cuscatlán, El Salvador, Carlos was the devoted son of Miguel Castro and Lilian Alas. He carried with him the strength, warmth, and cultural pride of his homeland throughout his life. After moving to the United States, Carlos made North Plainfield his home, where he was known for his generous spirit, unwavering loyalty to family, and his ability to bring a smile to anyone’s face.
Carlos will be remembered for his deep love for his parents, his dedication to those he held dear, and his quiet strength in the face of life’s challenges. He touched the lives of many with his genuine heart and kind soul.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Friday, June 27th from 4-8pm in Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place North Plainfield, NJ 07060.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 28th, 8:30am in the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ.
