David Nieves, Jr., 46, of Plainfield, NJ, passed away on September 28, 2025. He was born on December 27, 1978, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to David Nieves, Sr., and the late Carmen Roman.
David was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his two sons, David Nieves III and Juan Valentino Nieves, and his cherished grandson, Lorenzo Nieves. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Adriana Machado, Yadira Nieves, Awilda X. Nieves, and Ezequiel Nieves, along with multiple nieces and nephews.
David had a larger-than-life personality and never hesitated to share his joy and passions with those around him. He proudly declared that “real men wear pink,” and his favorite color became a part of his signature. A lifelong fan of Nintendo, he enjoyed gaming, collecting Hot Wheels cars, and trading sports cards. He was also an enthusiastic supporter of the New York Yankees and New York Giants, cheering for his teams with unwavering loyalty.
Above all, David’s greatest joy was his family. He loved being a father and grandfather, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be remembered for his humor, his passions, and his love for those closest to him.
