Born on November 23, 1981, in La Paz, El Salvador, Joel was the beloved son of Pedro Antonio Dominguez and Gloria Iracema Cruz. He later made his home in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he built a life centered on hard work, family, and dedication to those he loved.
Joel worked as a restaurant chef for many years, sharing his talent, passion, and commitment through his work. He took great pride in his profession and was known for his strong work ethic, determination, and willingness to help others. Whether in the kitchen or at home, Joel approached life with perseverance and a generous spirit.
Above all else, Joel was a devoted husband and family man. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Yessica Menjivar, who remained by his side throughout life's joys and challenges. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with those he loved.
Those who knew Joel will remember him for his kindness, resilience, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. His presence brought comfort to many, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Joel's life was a testament to the values of hard work, sacrifice, and love. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten.
Joel will be returned to his beloved homeland of El Salvador, where he will be laid to rest at Cementerio San Antonio La Laguneta in the District of San Juan Nonualco, La Paz Este.
May he rest in eternal peace, and may his family and loved ones find comfort in the many memories they shared with him.
