John Allen Schumacher

John Allen Schumacher, 75, of North Plainfield, NJ died at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Somerset, NJ on April 18th, 2021. Allen enjoyed driving in his car, tinkering with electronics, sharing jokes, and caring for animals. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star. Allen was a loving husband and father, and was predeceased by his son Patrick, and surviving are his wife Barbara of North Plainfield, daughter Marisa of San Diego, California, and his beloved pet cats.

Visitation will be at Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, NJ on Sunday May 2nd from 2-4 PM.
