Kristine C. Whiting, 50, of North Plainfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, surrounded by love from her husband, James.

Born in Manila, Philippines, Kristine carried with her the vibrant spirit and warmth of her roots throughout her life. She was a woman of deep compassion, radiant beauty—inside and out—and boundless generosity.

Kristine was the devoted wife and life partner of James H. Whiting III, with whom she shared years of love, laughter, and adventure. Together, they built a life full of memories, travel, and the kind of companionship that is rare and treasured.

A true world traveler, Kristine’s sense of wonder and love for different cultures took her across the globe, but no matter where she went, her heart was always open and her arms ready to welcome others. At home, she was known for her hospitality—especially at barbecues, where it didn’t matter when you arrived, there was always food, and there was always room at the table. That was Kristine: inclusive, kind, and full of joy.

Her beautiful soul touched countless lives, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her cremated remains will be scattered in Paris, France where she would be laid to rest in the Seine River where she wanted to always be.
