With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Luz Mary Correa Leon, a devoted mother, cherished friend, and beloved member of her community, who departed this life peacefully on May 8, 2025, at the age of 76.

Born on March 10, 1949, Luz lived a life defined by unwavering love, quiet strength, and a deep commitment to her family. She was the proud and devoted mother of Maria Johnson, who was her greatest joy and constant source of pride.

Luz’s kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. Whether through her warm smile, generous heart, or comforting presence, she left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her resilience and grace will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude.

Luz will be laid to rest at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield, New Jersey, where she will be reunited with peace and light.

A private service will be held in accordance with her wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
