Phyllis Angelone Capparelli, 101, of North Plainfield, NJ entered the gates of Heaven on October 3, 2025. Known as “Mrs. Cap” was born in Raritan NJ to James V. Angelone and Elizabeth Quelly Angelone. She graduated from Somerville High School in 1942. graduated East Stroudsburg State Teachers College in 1946 with a degree in Health Education. Phyllis was known for fingers that flattered the keyboard. An accelerated student and very much alive.
Met her husband in May 1946 and married July 17,1948. Mrs Cap and Ed Capparelli resided in North Plainfield for 73 years. Phyllis taught in the Middlesex School system for 3 years. Took a time out to raise four children. Edward Jr., Joseph, Debra and Pamela. Phyllis is also survived by her canine companion "Chrissy".
Taught in the Green BrooK School system for 25 years. Retired in 1989 - upon retiring substituted in the North Plainfield School system for 10 years. Mrs. Cap is predeased by her husband of 66 years, sons Edward Jr and Joseph. Daughter Pamela Capparelli, grandson Edward Capparelli III. Surviving is daughter Debra Capparelli Uher, grandson Christopher Capparelli, (Juli). Great grandson Tyler and great granddaughter MacKenzie.
