"Charito" Sevilla Solis passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerset, New Jersey, surrounded by the love and comfort of her devoted family.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Friday, May 22nd from 5-9pm in Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place North Plainfield, NJ 07060.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 23rd from 8-11am at the families residence in Plainfield.

Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.

Born in Ecuador, "Charito" carried with her a deep love for her family, her culture, and the values of kindness, strength, and compassion throughout her life. She was a woman whose warmth could be felt by everyone who knew her, and whose presence brought comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love to those around her.

Above all else, "Charito" was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to caring for and supporting the generations she loved so dearly. Her gentle spirit, enduring strength, and selfless heart created a legacy that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

"Charito" will be remembered for her loving nature, quiet grace, and the countless memories she created with family and friends throughout her life. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her love and guidance will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a acompañar y rendir homenaje el viernes 22 de mayo de 5:00pm a 9:00pm en Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, NJ 07060.

El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo el sábado 23 de mayo de 8:00am a 11:00am en la residencia de la familia en Plainfield.

El sepelio continuará posteriormente en Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.

Nacida en Ecuador, "Charito" llevó consigo un profundo amor por su familia, su cultura y los valores de la bondad, la fortaleza y la compasión a lo largo de toda su vida. Fue una mujer cuya calidez podía sentirse por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla, y cuya presencia brindaba consuelo, sabiduría y amor incondicional a quienes la rodeaban.

Por encima de todo, "Charito" fue una madre devota, una apreciada abuela y una amada bisabuela. Su familia era el centro de su vida, y dedicó sus años a cuidar, apoyar y amar profundamente a las generaciones que tanto significaban para ella. Su espíritu noble, su fortaleza inquebrantable y su corazón generoso dejaron un legado que continuará viviendo a través de sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos.

"Charito" será recordada por su naturaleza amorosa, su serenidad y los innumerables recuerdos que creó junto a familiares y amigos a lo largo de su vida. Aunque su partida deja un vacío inmenso, su amor y sus enseñanzas permanecerán por siempre en el corazón de todos aquellos que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla.
