Ruth Ramos

Ruth Ramos, 85, of North Plainfield, New Jersey, passed away on August 20, 2026, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Sunday, August 23rd from 3-6pm in Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place North Plainfield, NJ 07060.

Ruth was born on September 9, 1940, in Coatepeque, El Salvador. Throughout her 85 years, she built a life centered around family and the generations who followed her. Her journey brought her from El Salvador to New Jersey, where she made her home in North Plainfield.

Ruth's legacy lives on through her beloved family. She is survived by her daughter, Xiomara Medrano de Cornejo; her grandchildren, Xiomara Cornejo and Rodrigo Cornejo; and her great-granddaughter, Collins Cabrera.

As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ruth leaves behind a family connected across four generations. Her life and memory will continue to be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

El legado de Ruth continúa vivo a través de su querida familia. Le sobreviven su hija, Xiomara Medrano de Cornejo; sus nietos, Xiomara Cornejo y Rodrigo Cornejo; y su bisnieta, Collins Cabrera.

Como madre, abuela y bisabuela, Ruth deja una familia unida a lo largo de cuatro generaciones. Su vida y su memoria continuarán siendo atesoradas por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla y amarla.
